Pick a resort close to an airport
On a short break, the transfer eats into ski time. Salzburg, Innsbruck, Munich and Geneva are all under two hours from many resorts. Check the transfer page for each resort.
Go midweek
Sunday to Thursday is quieter and often cheaper than a weekend, and the lifts are emptier.
Smaller resorts suit short stays
You won’t ski a giant area in three days, so a compact resort near the airport can be better value than a famous name further away.
Half board is the standard
