Local or regional pass?
A regional pass (3 Vallées, Ski Arlberg, International) costs more but covers far more terrain. Beginners and short stays often do better with the local pass.
Buy online and early
Many resorts discount online or early purchase, and date-based resorts get dearer closer to the day.
Avoid peak weeks
Christmas, New Year and February half-term are peak. Early December, late March and April are usually cheapest.
