What to know
Check what “all inclusive” covers
In Alpine hotels it usually means meals, afternoon snacks and selected drinks in the hotel. Lunch on the mountain is normally extra.
Half board is the alternative
Half board (breakfast and dinner) is the norm in Austria and Italy and is often close to all-inclusive value, because you are on the slopes at lunchtime.
Half board is the standard
Most Austrian ski hotels sell half board with a multi-course dinner, and many 4-star hotels have a pool and sauna. Lift passes are usually for the whole region (Ski Amadé, SkiWelt, Zillertal Superskipass).
