- From 1 November to 15 April, cars must have winter tyres (M+S or snowflake marking) on all wheels when there is snow, slush or ice on the road.
- Snow chains on two drive wheels are an alternative only when the road is completely or almost completely covered with snow or ice; keep to 50 km/h with chains.
- Fines start at €35 and can reach €5,000 if others are endangered.
