The cheapest weeks to ski in 2026/27 are early December and from late March into April, when lift companies charge low-season prices. A six-day adult pass costs €73 less in St Anton’s shoulder weeks, €72 less in Kitzbühel’s Super Saver weeks and €42.50 less for Les 3 Vallées in early December and mid-April.

Early December or late season?

Early December is cheapest but snow cover can be thin and some areas may not be fully open. Late March and April bring longer, sunnier days and softer snow, and high resorts such as Val Thorens, Zermatt and Les 2 Alpes stay open until 2 May 2027. For the best balance of price and snow reliability, look at high-altitude resorts in their cheaper weeks.

Avoid peak weeks if you can

Peak price periods cover Christmas and New Year and run through February and most of March: 19 December 2026 to 2 April 2027 in St Anton and 20 December 2026 to 13 March 2027 in Kitzbühel. School holiday weeks fall inside these periods, so families pay peak prices and should book lift passes and transfers early.

Easy savings in any week

Buy lift passes online before you travel: in Morzine the same six-day pass is €36 cheaper online than at the ticket office, and Grandvalira says advance online purchase saves up to 15%. Compare a transfer with the train for the whole group, and rent equipment in advance where shops offer pre-booking.
